ITEMS PROHIBITED FROM ALL DUMPSTERS
- Oils
- Gasoline
- Railroad ties
- Asbestos
- Textiles (clothing items only, no fee for carpet or rugs)
- Wet paint and lacquers
- Medical infectious waste
- Adhesives
- Contaminated soils or absorbents
- Ink and resins
- Pesticides or chemicals
- Dirt, Asphalt or Concrete
- Hazardous Waste
- Vehicles or boats
- Brush, leaves, branches and yard waste (cannot be mixed with other waste)
ITEMS THAT HAVE AN EXTRA FEE IF FOUND INSIDE
- Tires (on or off rim): $25+ dependent on size
- FREON appliances (refrigerator, air conditioner, dehumidifier, etc.): $50+ depending on size
- Televisions: $50+ depending on size
- Computers (monitors, computers, laptops, etc.): $50
- Batteries: $40
- Propane tanks: $40
- Industrial drums: $30
- Mattress or Box Spring (each): $110
- Appliances/White Goods: $35+
- Fluorescent Light Bulbs: $5+
- Paint Cans (each): $20+
Please note that if any prohibited items listed above are found in the dumpster, they may be refused and removed from the dumpster at time of pick up. For any items found in the dumpster that have an extra fee, the card on file will be charged at time of pick up and disposal automatically. The schedule of extra fees listed above is as of October 24th, 2022. This stems from State Laws within Massachusetts. We recommend recycling whenever possible, and for many of the items listed above.
